Windscreen wiper iced.

Post by HarryBongo » Sat Dec 26, 2009 5:04 pm

A large quantity of ice fell off the roof onto the drivers wiper blade and bent it down. Now it won't assume either its proper start or finish position.

Any tips gratefully received.

Your probably gonna have to take the wiper off and re position it back onto the spline, and with any luck the ice has not stripped the teeth on the spline .
Lift the cap at the end of the wiper arm covering the spline and there is a screw under the cap, unscrew ,take the wiper off and reposition. simplezzzzz.
Lost without my Bongo.
