Hey guys,

Have been reading this post with interest and also looked up the rightclick site. I found this kit:

Would this enable me to possibly link up my alarm system?

Im noy sure if i am capable of fitting these systems as im useless when it come to electrics. But il have a go atleast.

You'll need a rod & clamps with the actuator, it's the solenoid that physically operates the lock up & down when voltage is applied across it in either direction depending on whether you're locking or unlocking it. The drivers door doesn't have one as standard which is why it won't lock if you lock the bongo from the passenger side.

I have just this minute got in from fitting mine

I bought the kit from Rightclick and got the 2 wire actuator from there to
I have mounted my control unit in the door itself, connected it to a permanent negative that supplies the electric window switch (Solid Black) and the permanent live from the original central locking switch (Blue/Black) these are the only two wires you need if you're not interested in wiring up the indicator/headlights etc, although I did mount a flashing led in the door so it shows me its locked

Im not sure where you got it from Colin but they are easy to wire up, its fitting the actuator thats a pita, I did make my life easier by buying a length of Mild Steel as recommended by another forum member and it's better than joining a couple of the short bars together.

Or try Maplins or ebay, just look for a kit with actuators or buy an actuator seperately. You can sell or pass the spare one on to someone else if you buy a 2 actuator kit.

I put two in the same door, gave em both names like Hacksaw & Terminoid, put em in little Lycra suites, cross wired em & took bets on the outcome...
