Re: meets
Oh for goodness sake.
Stop saying how about and what if.
If you fancy a meet/date/venue then calla meet...if peeps can't make it then it is their loss.
Come on peeps..name some dates and venues...if you've not organised a meet before then have a word with someone who has.
As meet organiser it's your call....and if noone else wants to join in at least you've spent a day/weekend somewhere where you wanted to be when you wanted to be there. No need to expect loqds of peeps just a few good friends. One or two 'big' NW meets a year are quite enough and do require that bit of extra organisation.
Meanwhile maybe think on that these regional meets may be cyclcle. When I first joined theforum Yorkshire and Humberside were pre eminent in the meets field (pun?). For the past 3 or 4 years its been the North West (wi8th a large contingent from Yorkshire)...now Midlands/East Midlands seem to be very active although North West seems to be expanding into Wales. What's the future?
cheers
