MX6 is a GA5R too.
I'm starting to collect them from my other forum.
Might have a couple spare soon . . . .

does it just pop straight in. I can do that ok just had mine out to fit a mason. but mine reads mph but trip is kms
is clocks exactly the same configuration? have seen some on ebay with temp gauge on oposite side of facia

I got a 626 instrument unit, removed the GA5R speedo from it, and it just dropped in to the Bongo instrument cluster. Reads Miles / MPH very accurately compared to my GPS. You can't fit the whole 626 binnacle in though.

I have just purchased one of those speedos (Just waiting for it to arrive) pretty much the same situ as you, i have a chip as well, maybe i could bring it along to Tackeroo2 and you could shout instructions at me as to how best to tackle the job
Or i could make the tea
See you soon mate

No probs Paul i'm sure we can sort it~did you get the clear plastic front that covers the dials cus sometimes the trip button (on your new one) is thicker & wont go through the hole so you have to make hole bigger with a slightly bigger drill bit or summat similar.BONGODADDY wrote:Hi Ray,
