mason alarm

hi all what temp should a mason alarm show on the temp gauge when on a run??

this one sits at about 12 oclock and fluctuates up and down

thanks for any advice

sounds like it's doing it's job ok then, I'm sure a v6er will be along to confirm.

Spot on then :wink: Mine hovers around vertical, I can get it to go up to about 3/4 of the way from vertical to the end of the scale while stationary, then the fans kick in & bring it straight back down in about 15 seconds, alarms set to start bipping about hafway between vertical & end of scale.

ours is 1 o/ clock or a tad more if towing and set about 4.5

that's the norm..... as Kirsty says....mid range and then when it creeps up..... fans in down she comes.....

Mine doesn't creep up as far as some but I have a new radiator..... mines the "default" 4
