AFAIK it's just the lever on the cab air intake, not one for the engine air intake, As Julian said, under the bonnet on the side of the plastic cowling.

Position in exhaust - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html
Valve - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html
& the switch is just a switch with a pic of an engine on it, you would also have had twin starter batteries fiited as standard.

My first post-Hope it reads OK!

Image
This photo shows the valve from the engine, looking back

Image
This photo shows the valve from the side with the cover still on. Notice the bolt on the bottom, there's another one on top that needs removing to expose the internals of the limit assembly.

Image
This photo shows the valve with the limit assembly cover removed. In this position the valve is not actuated and open. When the engine is running and the winter pack is switched on, vacuum pulls the actuating rod towards the back of the car and the spindle rotates clockwise until is reaches the closed limit, the bolt that you can see on the rear of the assembly. To test that the valve moves freely put a 12mm socket on the spindle nut and rotate clockwise. It should move but have the spring pressure pulling it back open. Once you start the engine and switch on the winter pack, the valve will move slowly closed.

Hope this helps.
