Does anyone know if the bongo would fail an mot with a corner guide on it. I have noticed that a lot of bongos i have seen dont have them and wondered if this is why. I would like to keep a few original bits on the bongo and am on the hunt for one.

a bongo cannot fail mot with a corner guide on as on some models of bongo and other jap vehicles they come as standard
the only way that it could fail mot is if it was bent forward and stiking out so it can cause danger to anybody or if there was a sharp edge on it
I NOW HAVE AN ASTRA JUST THE BONGO TO FIND A NEW HOME THEN I AM OUT OF HERE

I'm not sure about the MOT regulations but they do not meet Construction & Use regulations so you could be fined. C&U forbids lights other than white to be visible from the front, the corner guide on mine emits green light. That said I think you would be very unlucky to get pulled for it, mine will certainly be staying where it is.
