Parking Pole

Post by haydn callow » Fri Apr 16, 2010 8:54 pm

Just pulled the parking pole on the new bongo to bits and got it working properly.
If anyone else has one that doesn't work....let me have it and I will send it back working (glowing whatever colour you want....green is default).
They should "glow" when the sidelights are switched on.....(not easy to see in daylight.)

Could you pm me details of where to post etc..

We ussually take these off and skip them, so will retain them in future and offer them up to interested parties, we also remove loads of wacky Japanese drink holders, multi cigar lighter power adaptors, and even a VHS and 12V TV and frame which sat above the centre console on one!!

You will find that anything bongo bling related will fly off your shelves, Paul, I would like a parking mast but wonder if it would be like a huge sign saying "snap me" where we live, lol. If you should get one again, keep me in mind please. cheers.

Found this little item on evil bay, lol, No. 310208319301, looks like a nice cheap alternative to the parking mast usually for bongos, wonder if it's worth a go or not.

Hi,
Just connect it into the sidelight wiring.....you may even find the wires already hanging there...check with a multimeter.
It's pretty strightforward

Even had one with a funky electric parking pole, had a button on the dash with up on it and it came up out of the bumper like an electric aerial and down on dash did the same bit OTT in my opinion butttt if you like your Jap gadgets...

Ady has pulled his to bits. Motor works but he can't be bothered with it. It now resides in a plastic bag with all the shimmy bits. Might be good for bits :wink: No doubt.

Forgot to add the parking pole in cab switch has been chucked in the bag as well #-o

Nice bit of Engrish:

Designs novel, artistic is natural, especially for beginner or distinguishes the position in the carport; avoids your car suffer crash;

It can distinguish the position for distance of the car, and keep to the side parking at night; it will make your driving more joy when the light brightness before installation;
