Turbo Kick In

Post by Dean » Fri Apr 23, 2010 2:12 pm

Sorry if this seems a bit stupid, but how can you tell when the turbo kicks in?
I used to drive a Saab with more of a performance turbo, and that used to push you in the back when it kicked in
Thanks

Should kick in @2000rpm, no huge boost or anything, although you may just hear it.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

I think it is easier to say that when it does not kick in, you will know it.

This is something I have wanted to know for the last three years!

Guess it probably doesn't affect me, though, as I try never to get up beyond 2000 rpm.

I love showing off how well it pulls at low revs!
