Hi

Does anyone know how to remove the sliding blind that opens when the sunroof slides open please? My current one is filthy and has a hole in it

Thanks

The sliding blind part of the sunroof is attached to the main framework of the sunroof which bolts directly on to the bongo's roof. When I replaced my broken sunroof for a working one I had to remove the roof panel and undo about 10 bolts that hold the whole frame onto the roof. I looked at replacing my sliding blind as the one on the new roof was tatty and frayed around the edges but I was unable to remove it. Sorry I can't help you anymore hopefully a more techie minded person might be about to offer anymore advice.

Sounds like an absolute nightmare - perhaps a nice bit of covering - a bit of no nails and job could be sorted

I revitalized the tatty leading edge on my sun roof shutter a strip of black duck tape along it & folding it back along the edge facing up... When closed, you cant see it.. Only when it slides back. First thing i did when i got the Bongo 3 years back, & it hasn't moved yet! Tidied it up no end...
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...
