my sliding door wont open?

put a new battery on the bongo. Since then the sliding door wont open. Checked the fuse and its ok? any ideas dudes?

I had the same problem a week or so ago (believed (by me) to have been caused by my dad's heavy handedness both opening and shutting (ie throwing the door back and slamming it shut).

A hefty whack in the appropriate place certainly did the trick for me You need to hit it hard though. I hit it a few times with no joy, came inside and had a look for further advice on here, and read on one of the threads that you really have to give it quite a wallop. The relief (and surprise) when everything started whirring and clicking back into life again was enormous

go into the bongo from the tailgate
take off the panel on the side door and pull the cable
i found this did the trick
