We're definitely up for this again, hopefully the weather will be kind to us again.
Who was it that arranged with Whittlebury Park to get us all camped together, was that Anna? Hopefully we can arrange something similar this year once we know how many are interested.
Also there are 'free' tickets available for the BritCar 24 hours, 1st to 3rd October. By 'free' they mean £2.50 per person booking fee plus £6.00 per car parking fee, so £16.00 for a family of four. Still not too shabby for a whole weekend, and as it's a 24 hour race you won't be needing Whittlebury Park will you

Nice spot and heads up both......... I agree Whittlebury for the Renault series.....
But for Britcar, we could probably find a place to congregate around the circuit like some other car clubs manage to do.....for "free".....well the car parking........and a BBQ/meet would be a great idea
The 2CV 24hr in Spa is all free these days inc Parking...... which is this year on the 9-10 October.... bit of a trek....well 2 1/2 hours from the channel ports, so you need to get to Dover before.... it's a fun weekend if you like 2CV....the ones they use these days are silhouettes of their former selves unlike the old 3 classes races in the past(standard, modified, super modified)....... AND you can go on top of the pit garages and watch the pit crews works too....

There might be some better viewing this year as well, the circuit layout is being changed to suit the bikes for the MotoGP event they've stolen from Donington Park. The new layout is shown below with the new infield section, last year's bit is in green. Actually, most of the track is already there for the National and International layouts but there will be new grandstands on that new 'arena' section. Also they're widening the start/finish straight, the grandstands along that stretch are already dismantled to allow the track works to be done.

For anyone who went last year and is unfamiliar with the layout, from Whittlebury on foot you would have entered the circuit at the far left of the plan above, which is the start/finish straight.

The Whittlebury site is being arranged differently this year - dividing it in two and having a family site and a rowdy site apparently. Certainly was lively last year I give it that lol

Do I get to drive the family Kangoo around the circuit if I come to this one?
