head cracked need help finding a replacement.

Post by phoenixroxy » Tue May 04, 2010 4:43 pm

hi had cylinder head pressure tested today and its cracked!! looking on ebay for a replacement but dont like the look of some of the ford ranger/bongo heads as i believe there is no bleed pipe fittings on them?

moneys really a bit tight so im trying to find the cheapest way of getting up and running again. i am thinking of re-using camshaft and valves from the old head (grinding in of course) but need to find a cheap bare head.

has anyone managed to source one and had success.

cheers.
