Fuel gauge

Post by Jacobus » Wed May 12, 2010 1:08 pm

I've only had the Bongo about 8 weeks and most of that I was not using it due to re-furbishment, but noticed the other day the fuel gauge appears to indicate fuel level whether ignition is on or off. Is that normal, most vehicles I have owned the fuel gauge indicator drops to zero when ignition is off. As I am about to fit a temperature coolant alarm if it is a fault might as well do both at same time.

That's as it should be, don't worry
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Thanks for that, Kirsty, made my day :D as I discovered when conversion was originally done the firm had not left access to the hatch that lets you into the top of the fuel tank when they put in a plywood floor. Jacobus
