rear heater pipework

Post by PeterP » Mon May 17, 2010 8:08 pm

The small bore metal cooling pipework to the rear heater - its located underneath the van and approx behind the drivers seat is very rusty.
Does anyone know where I can get replacements from and also what they are called?

Drivers side heater pipe part no S09A6122YA pretty sure bongo bits , ava, bellhill, JAS will be able to supply usually around £50
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

i got one from bongobits last week, they are a pain to remove as there is one bolt hidden under the air intake pipe and then you have to circumnavigate all the pipes to get the damm old one out and the new in, judging by the state of mine i took off it was about to pinhole at anytime.

that is the correct pipe if its the one from the rear heater matrix, it runs all the way into the bonnet area approx 5' long in length.

If it's the one that goes across the back of the engine, it's this one, 61-301 http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html part no S09A61226A
