Just to let you know that David bought a new fan thing and when fitted the air con now works. Hooray :lol: :lol: :lol:

Glad you got it sorted :D Hope you didn't chuck the old fan, bring it to the bash & I may be able to use it as spares/repair [-o<

Sorry I got the wrong end of the stick. It was a resistor that had gone the fan was ok.

Glad its sorted D&D. Interesting though, as its a resistor that goes when the fan is partially seized - I've not read all this thread carefully, but are you confident the fan is running freely, as you don't want a repeat?
