Irish Yorkshirelass.......back home.........sob!

Post by yorkshirelass » Mon Jun 14, 2010 10:10 pm

Well folks if you've never visited IRELANDS' COASTLINE....your missing a spectacular treat !
Am back after a fanastic 4 weeks touring the emerald isle anad its coastline; what a superb journey its been & have loved every minute of it....except for the first evening when I got lost on the infamous new motorway/ring road at Dublin....Aaaaaagh . Advice to anyone who does go, forget Holyhead to Dublin etc Go straight to Rosslare and save yourself a potential heart attack/stroke or a complete breakdown of mental health !! Plus the east coast is nothing special at all; save your eyes and time for the south and south west coastline which is magnificent and utterly breathtaking. This has been the best holiday I've ever had, and I've travelled some great places in this world; never realising that only 'next door' lies so much beautyle , AND its so clean and tidy ....everywhere !! They still have men out and about with brush & shovel and those little trucks which amble along thro' villages; exactly as in my childhood.......10.000 years ago!
I've got some pics and now need to get them on photo bucket...then to this site. Please don't expect a 'Muz' level of pics, but they are special to me
Needless to say my BONGO behaved beautifully for the whole 3.447 km !!!! =D> =D> =D>

Have I missed much ?????????

Glad your back and (hopefully refreshed), Pam.

Can't comment on the "what's been happening" front, as I've only had 1 night at home in the last 3 weeks, a mini-tour of Scotland turned into a longer trip than expected (for all good reasons).

Looking forward to the pics, I'm passing yours Tues PM, if your about.

Copy your pics to a new folder on your computer. Then resize them all to 640 x 480 pixels.

Upload to photobucket, use the bulk uploader to do them all in one go.

Then pick the last link under each photo, copy & paste this into your BF post

You know what they say Mike.......if you want something bad enough.......you'll find a way to achieve it. Am sure you will love, but do be prepared for things costing more in the Republic. Cannot remember if you smoke ?? but a packet of 20 [any type] was 8.50 euros; approx £7.50 !!!!!!
My gob was utterly smacked on first discovering this, as you can imagine.
