V6 Rear Shock

Post by pongobongo » Mon Jun 14, 2010 5:36 pm

Hi,

My shock is knocking like mad - anyone know where I can get one from?

I've been told to get Kayaba 443179 - but unsure if this is for the Friendee or not! (Price sounds good though - £25 each!!)

Help... please.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. Can't seem to find one anywhere (Well unless I want to spend £80 each!)

Any ideas?

Hi,

Managed to source a shock - fitted last night.

Unfortunately the knocking hasnt gone away. Doesnt seem to be any play in any of the joints around that area.

Sound is coming from Drivers Side - Rear wheel arch. Hmm

Any ideas? Thanks

Aye - after hours of head scratching turn out it was the rear drop link. No damage to it, but the replacement has stopped the knocking.

Thanks
