Tyre sizes - Vanco2

Post by vanvliet » Fri Jul 02, 2010 12:51 pm

I have been offered a pair of Continental Vanco2 tyres for the front axle at a good price locally - but the sizes on the sidewalls are not as recommended in previous posts
they are:

195/70/R15C and, in smaller letters, 104/102R . Is this spec OK for the Bongo?

There is no mention of 'reinforced 100t' as on my ,older ,rear ones .

they will be fine.
the load rating 104/102 is alot higher than standard front ( 92 )
so tyres will be capable of supporting heavier load, whether this makes
for a stiffer/ harder ride I'm not sure.
letter R is speed rating of 100something mph so again should be
fine for a Bongo in this country

See continental website for vanco2 info.
I'll probably be getting some when the time comes.

They are £68 fitted each which he price- matched to one of the national tyre supply sites (which include local fitting)
