cooling
had the coolant dropped, flushed & refilled, kept a close eye on the tm2 same temps as previous, however started again a few hours later to let the Mrs off the drive, and the low coolant alarm went off, checked under bonnet, and signs of a blowwout of coolant, topped up ok water level was just below sensor, checked bleed pipe just to see if any air came out, just a slight psttt.
do you think i have a problem or is it just one of those moments? obviously i'll keep a close eye on it.
the garage that done it was"japanese import specialist". should i be worried?

Re: cooling
Sounds like an airlock, pressure test the system to check for leaks, but it could be it wasn't bled right? I wouldn't go anywhere til it's been bled properly.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Re: cooling
Agreed, but I'd still be a little wary that there may be an airlock in there somewhere.
A block can settle somewhere "safe" in the system & do no harm but once it starts to move about - its a bit like a blood clot - not terminal until it gets to the heart or the brain.
I suggest bleed, bleed & bleed again - better safe than sorry.

Re: cooling
Fully agree, but as my suggestion to bleed was ignored the first time......
