Greetings
Thinking of upgrading to a low mileage 2L petrol.
Just a couple of queries......
1. I assume these have a catalytic converter. How reliable are these and are they MEGA expensive to replace. I know they are dear enough for ordinary cars but as with most Bongo spares, the name BONGO usually sends the price into orbit.
2. Can anyone tell me what the V.E.D will be when the changes come about. (its an 8 seat unconverted tintop). Im currently paying £205 for 12 months and believe that will stay the same for my current 2.5 diesel.
Cheers,
Brian

Might be worth an ask at Wheelquick or Bell Hill..... they both have some 2.0L and should know the score......

Hello
We've had our Y reg , 2.0 litre petrol Bongo since last December when it passed its first MOT in the UK. No problems whatsoever with the emissions test. We hadn't really thought about catalytic converters and possible ongoing costs - something to ask our motor mechanic "children".
Our Bongo is also unconverted, retaining all 8 seats. We have recently taxed it for the year at £205.
There that is my first post done !! Have been reading for ages
and benefitted from all the great information and enjoy the atmosphere of this truly friendly forum + great time at Merley and the Bongo Bash.
Best wishes
