Any techies out there have any idea whether the clock spring from a 96 Mazda 323 will fit my 96 Bongo?
The unit itself appears identical, just not sure whether the wiring will be common on both.
Thanks

Clock Spring ???
Re: Will alternative clock spring fit??
It allows the steering wheel horn/airbag to function even tho the wheel can rotate.haydn callow wrote:Clock Spring ???
tbh if it looks similar it should fit, I take it yours hasn't got an airbag? If not then the only connection that runs through it is the horn wire that when grounded soundsBigcol wrote:Any techies out there have any idea whether the clock spring from a 96 Mazda 323 will fit my 96 Bongo?

Cheers.
As it happens I managed to locate one from a breaker for reasonable money. Others had been quoting anything up to £80 when you can pick up clock springs for other Mazda models on Flea Bay for around the £20 mark.
