Hi does anyone know if the Bong has a pollen filter? and if so how often should it be replaced?
Thanks

Nope, a few people have mooted the idea of fitting something & wouldn't be surprised if one of the Jap owners has done so, but it's just more stuff to keep replacing, usefull if you suffer badly with it though I guess, just put in place when it's needed?
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
Re: Pollen filter
Thanks! I may have a go at fitting something over the winter, too busy enjoying the bong in the good weather now. At work I drive a V Dub T5 van and always shut the windows and stick the air con on when I'm out in the country as I suffer with hay fever, of course I am not paying for the diesel at work. So if there is no pollen filter, I will open the windows more and save a bit of fuel when I'm in the bongo

Probably use more fuel with the windows open, than if using the aircon - it spoils the aerodynamics.gasace wrote: I will open the windows more and save a bit of fuel when I'm in the bongo

Re: Pollen filter
Certainly not much in it, someone put he rough sums up a while ago, I think up to @ 50 mph windows open is marinally more efficient, then upwards from that, it's more efficient to use ac if you want cooler air, TBH I don't really notice much difference in mpg with it on & can still get up to 35mpg quite happily - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=43044
