front fog lights
can anyone post a picture of the front fog lights mounted in the lower front bumper please.
both of the mk2(old shape) and the face lift model later. pictures of the front, as to how far through the opening they project, and a close up of the rear mounting.
the reason i ask is i have got some off a S reg 626 scrapper, they have the mounts on them, but dont appear to fit my 95 bumper,i dont want to modify them to fit mine if they will be of use to someone else for the later bumper
the lights i have are made by valeo, and of the correct slightly tappered shape, but i thought mazda lights were all made by stanley?
thanks ady.

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Re: front fog lights
Pretty sure those are new shape (99 onwards?) rather than facelift (97-99?) that still have the old shape bumper. I've seen the round eyeball type on facelift models, mounted on a black insert that fills the rest of the hole.
The first one is what I've got on my old shape 95. I'll do you pics tomorrow if it aint raining & no-ones beat me to it, (ie anyone that gets up before lunchtime

Hi Ady
Please let me know how you get on, as I found a 626 over here last week...shan't be going that way for a few weeks, but I'll be going back to that breakers in a while, as they have a stock of alternative headlamps
...BMW and Opel which can be made to fit!!!!
Cheers

Hi Ady
A set went on e-bay for 47.00 GBP the other day...even that's expensive for some old second hand stuff!
Cheers

Re: front fog lights
thanks kirsty,
the ones i have appear to be the early lights (shape) with a different bracket fitted to mount them to the 626.
as im now confident they are not for the later bongo i will chop up the brackets, and mod them to fit into the mk2 bumper!!! if i can.not a 2 min job though.
thanks eveyone for your help on this.
regards ady.
