Hi Haydn,
I have a spare coil you can borrow. I also have some HT leads and a dizzy cap and arm. All work ok but I changed all of mine over time as I thought they were faulty !!
The coil I have here, the rest is at discount trucks. Let me know if you need to borrow any of them and I'll see what I can sort out.

That would be great....if I could borrow them I could swap them out one at a time....It would be a bugger to change them all for new £250'ish to find the problem still there..
I will of course pay all expensises and see them back to you...

Andy was kind enough to send me a complete set of "2nd hand known good" ignition parts...
Full set of 7 leads
Dizzy Cap
Rota Arm
Coil pack
The coil pack arrived first and made no differance....
The Dizzy cap did seem to improve things.
The HT leads seemed to improve things a bit more.
The Rota arm solved the problem 95% (touch wood so far)
I belive that the Ignition system has to be 100% to work properly on LPG...
It was fine on petrol...just stuttered on LPG
I got a new Cap/rota/and "pattern HT leads"
Fitted the lot and it was rubbish....the Pattern leads cost £75 and were not up to the job on LPG...I was getting "shocks" off the leads where they go into the Dizzy cap.
Replacing the old leads after a good clean up solved the problems.
So..at the end of the day it was 90% down to the Rota arm and 10% down to the cap/leads..
It now seems to be running fine on both petrol/LPG
I have visited the LPG forum and this seems to be very common....LPG works the system harder and it has to be spot on.
Again thanks to ANDY...I will hang on to the parts untill after the Looe Bash so I can stress the Bongo towing the C'van....then I will pack them all up and return to yourself ??

That included things like using single electrode spark plugs, as the triple electrode ones seemed to weaken the spark.
The quality of aftermarket ignition leads vary widely, I once saw an operation where the supplier was using kids straight from school, and there were a lot of 'Universal' fittings being used. (Universal to me means bad at everything!)
A bit like hoses, I believe that the Original manufacturers parts have stood the test of time and are not worth messing about with for such a key component, especially when LPG needs a powerful source of ignition.
