Hi folks
the Timing belt does not go round on my engine what does this mean ? will there have been piston valve interface what will be the best course of action .

I would guess you need to get it into a Bongo friendly garage and ask them to do various tests to determin if any damage has been done....were you "wizzing" alaong when it snapped? and what noises did it make ??

Interference fit so some damage but I think the Bongo engine has an inherantly weak rocker arm which snaps (like a fuse) and could mean less disasterous consequences

yeah Dandy ure right the rockers snap as rule to protect the valves,just like the new tdci 16v engine.
