number plate dimensions

i cant for the life of me find a measuring tape anywhere tonight, does anyone know off the top of their heads what size number plates i need as I'm looking to get some new ones

And does anyone know where you can get a SS/chrome surround for said number plates ??

off the top of my head 13" by 7" not standard number plate size , you have to ask for import size number plates.
Mike at wheelquick has quite a few chrome number plate surrounds for sale.

13x7 is the closest but not sure if they will fit the chrome surrounds as 1" can make the world of difference or so my missus says :oops:
I NOW HAVE AN ASTRA JUST THE BONGO TO FIND A NEW HOME THEN I AM OUT OF HERE

Mine are 13" x 7", if that helps, although I reckon the 7" is closer to 6.5"

Just been out and measured mine, :oops: definitely 13 inches by 7 inches. [-o<
