Kind of . .

We made it to the meet but not with the Bongo.

This weeks problem is waiting for exhaust manifold to turn up, the old one was too far gone to skim.

Nearly there though. [-o<

Does this mean that you are going to be at the next meet in your Bongo Chris or that you will be standing at a street corner somewhere with your cap in your hand. #-o

Really pleased that you apparently now have it sorted Chris. See you and Liz at Glencoe and Silverdale if not sooner.

BONGO'S HOME!!!!!

It feels something like getting your favourite pet back after six months in quarrantine!

Initial verdict is that its doing all its supposed to do, starts crisply, is getting up to temp, heaters blowing hotter than before & no nasty knocks or rattles.

Hopefully this is the end of the line of that nasty nightmare rollercoaster of discomfort I've had the misfortune to be riding since christmas. [-o<

Will report back after a bit of a run out over the weekend.

Should help.

Along with new piston rings, new head all associated bolts & gaskets, stat, pump & exhaust manifold.

Its feeling good but will take some time to get that confidence boost back on line . . .

Almost - What started off as This Months Problem in June, sucked out July & pretty much the whole of August.

Never mind - one Bank Holiday left - we'll have a blast this weekend, we thought.

Unfortunately, getting ready to pop out to a workmates wedding do yesterday evening Mrs M went base over apex down the stairs after tripping over the cat & smashed into the pointy corner of a rather sturdy knee high table at the bottom. #-o

A bit sore, we went out anyway but had to return home after an hour as she was in a fair amount of discomfort. A sleepless night all round ended in me taking her to A&E at 6am this morning.

Short version being they've kept her in with broken ribs & air leaking from the lung. :(

Bank Holiday Cancelled.
