Bonnet Seal?

Post by Nippon Tuck » Wed Sep 01, 2010 10:51 pm

I noticed yesterday, that I can see the battery through the gap in the sides of the bonnet. Water can easily run through the gap and onto the battery. I have had no problem in 3 years of trouble free running, and have been in some pretty rainy conditions too. Should there be a rubber seal or is this normal?. Seems like a potential time bomb to me!
