I have recently noticed a squeaking sound, usually when accelerating at low speed. It then happens very occasionally at normal speed. I thought at first it was only when turning corners but it is also when driving straight. Any suggestions anyone? Nothing else happening that I have noticed. The vehicle is under warranty but Id like some suggestions before I contact the garage, then he'll think I know what Im talking about!
Thanks
Annie!

Check the power steering fluid level under the drivers seat,
that also makes a squeeky noise when the reservoir level is
very low.

I have a squeak caused by the doorpad or some part of the door rubbing on the side of the dash. If I stick my finger in the gap it stops. I suppose I should check the door catch adjustment if there is any or stick a finger like object to the dash.

Our recent Bongo squeak (which had me looking around madly, trying to find the source) was caused by the wind across the wind deflector... whew!

Allans Garage retired. Try PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services Plymouth

I have exactly the same issue!
I have just posted on dvisors thread
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 6873ef9203
I wonder now if the two are related.

Seems like a silly question, do you have a wee dog or some kind of toy hanging from your rear view mirror?
Now dont all laugh at once and Ill allow the first three blonde jokes but after that..........
My squeak was the chain with a soft toy and a lucky silver dollar hanging from the mirror and as I went round corners it squeaked! It took the mechanic in the garage three quarters of an hour which included two different people driving and up on the hoist!
I think they are still laughing! Hats off to the guys, they didnt charge me a penny for their time, Im sure theyll have a few pints bought on the strength of the story.
Problem solved!

Brilliant result all the same.
