Knocking Sounds

Post by Mr Muldoon » Wed Sep 08, 2010 10:18 am

My bongo has developed a knocking sound from the front, I think it has something to do with the steering, as my mates had a look at it (before it started knocking he looked at it because it failed it's mot on a steering fluid leak) I think it has stemmed from when the tyre place didn't balance it correctly & as a result the steering shakes at 60mph & above.

The sound is like a loose clunking one & no worse when driving in a straight line or turning a corner.

Obviously it needs the attention of a mechanic but I've just moved to Sheffield & need to find one, but in the mean time, am I ok to drive it.
