Last time was a lot of faffing for me, collecting money & trying to keep on top of it all. I think I lost about £80 in the process.Muzorewa wrote:Anyway, we're definitely up for this, what's the booking/payment arrangement going to be Chris?
I've asked if we can book directly as individuals this time, using a Bongo booking reference.
Lets wait & see.

Had a reply back already.
21 takers so far, 41 made it last time so theres a target to beat on this one.

Waiting to confirm whether the deposit bit means 2 nights up front or just a proportion of . . . .They can book with us direct and would need to pay 2 nights deposit, they just have to let us know they are with the Bongo's.

Sorted.
40 pitches have been reserved.

Book direct with Bryn Gloch on 01286 650216
2 nights is going to be £38 & that includes a whole host of luxuries including an all weather pitch so no muddy stuff, electric hook up, water, drainage, awnings, extra adults, children and dogs. (I think you need to supply your own extra adults, children and dogs though)

They will require payment up front.
Don't forget to mention you're part of the Bongo bunch when booking, otherwise you may be pitched with inferior vehicles.
They've kindly knocked a fiver a night off their regular charges as long as we don't trash the place too much.

I will be booking, but bit short on pennies due to having the bits done on Bongo and found out yesterday my little cat has to have an op (broken jaw)
Hopefully will still be places left and will hopefully book next month!

Read this topic with interest as I missed Daffy1 last year. However, as a lone camper £38 is rather expensive on top of the diesel, plus I'll be going to Cornwall at Easter, which isn't too far off afterwards.
Was interested in that Nantcol Waterfalls site though - that looks good. Perhaps another time, eh?

Re: Daffy2 - Portmeirion - April 8th - Confirmed!
Think we may try and come to this. Would mean coming with the bongo and car as we've got all the kids that weekend. It appears it's school holidays the following two weeks so potentially could do another few nights. Is it ok to have the bongo and a car and is it booked up already? If not when would a decision need to be made .... decisions decisions
