Bongo Fest South West 2010

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

We have just returned home after a very happy time in Looe this weekend. Nice sunny weather, lovely countryside, a super site and great company, what more could you want ?

A big thank you to Ian for organising the meet , Kirsty (on her trusty bike) for getting us all installed in the right place and not forgetting Lene and Stephen who run the site , they were amazing !!

What a smashing site. it was a bit of a long drive down to Looe but well worth the effort, Nice to see Jannervanner (Dave) on his home ground, he has pestered us for months and months that we should visit, so now we have maybe he will shut the flip up.
I didn't take any pics on the campsite thinking there would be loads taken by Dave and others, but did take some when we went to the EDEN PROJECT.

Plenty of blue skies Mike :D A brilliant meet, with brilliant company!

I spent most of my time fitting chrome nymberplate surrounds  :D So like dave, didn't get a vast amount of piccies of the actual meet (plus i'd forgotten my phone charger) #-o

We popped over to Allans gaff on the way to te meet though, and got a few piccies of their rather spiffing bongo pick up (bong-up?)

Judging by the reg plate, it's a sister vehicle to my own bongo :D (i forgot to ask Al if it used to be green like mine) #-o

Thats us, although I wasn't driving at the time as I went off to Dartmouth.

Thanks for letting me know how Karen was driving though especially as I had filled the van that weekend, must have another chat about fuel economy I think.

Great pics from everyone, I don't take many myself as so many good ones get put on the forum. I particularly appreciate all the ones of Eden as I have been there many times, and taken pics, but none as good as these - I just point and press!
It was a great meet, lovely to see so many faces I knew, and to meet some new people too. Mo

Goes without saying that we had an excellent time at Looe. Many thanks to Ian, Marianne, Kirsty (and her bike), the campsite team and all who attended for making it such a good 'un.

Lovely to see friends and familiar faces again, and meet some new folk.

I was another one who relied on the photographic skills of others too (although I also buried my camera in the Bongo at some point and didn't find it until I got home  ). However, here's just a few ....

Sunny Looe

Image

Image

And a headless man in my husband's car (note the non-Bongo's in the background too)

Image

Oh no, not headless, just uncomfortable

Image

And very very tall

Image

But he obviously left a little bit of his magic elbow grease behind, as look what happened when the boys got home

[Image

A great weekend, though. Looking forward to next year already :D
