Surely ALL odometers are digital - as they only show digits. :?

Does Flossie mean cable driven or electrically driven?

If so - I'm fairly certain all Bongo Speedos and Odometers are electric as that is how the conversion chips work.

The speedo head is driven directly from the gearbox frequency sensor.
With standard wheels and tyres, f = 100 Hz = 70 KPH. (linear).

All conversions, ie. counters for odometers and digital to analog for the
speedo needle are done electronically within the speedo head.

If that's all then I don't see what difference it makes, unless you want to "clock" it when what appears to be thought of as "digital" is reputedly much easier if you have the right computer etc.

This came from one of the importers fact sheets ... I forgot they are general Jap importers as I'm so Bongo focussed right now ... Sorry !!
