Can anyone recommend brighter headlight bulbs please

Post by chakota » Sat Sep 25, 2010 4:01 pm

Hi again all,

I seem to be posting on here all the time for recommendations , so far you guys have come thru.

I want to change my headlight bulbs both dipped and main beam for the higher powered ones , can anyone recommend the ones for my 1999 bongo from ebay (link would be nice) :D

I dont know what type they are if you can just steer me in right direction i would be most grateful.

Many thanks to all.............Harry

Changed mine a few years ago to those, pretty good.

Don't forget to T-Cut the headlamp lens if it's yellowed or got film on it - makes a big difference.

I bought a tube of that stuff "xerapol" to clean the wind deflectors , it may clean the headlights , i shall try a little area first to make sure it does not damage them ... many thanks

I got some +50% White Tesla Bulbs from Lidl when they were on offer...... £3.99..... a pair......

Tesla make bulbs for most of the Bulb specialists...... Osram etc..... in an old Osram factory
The Tesla's are also UV cut so suitable for Plastic lenses........worth the buy when Lidl have them on special..... Keep watching......
Many on the Forum use them....
Xerapol or Windowize cleans the headlights up a treat.......the Japs tend to put a yellow film over them, takes a few goes with the paste but works a treat.....
