Glencoe meet. September 25 / 26

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Hi guys,

I've finally got home. I couldn't drive until 4.30pm. It must have been something I ate. My mates and I had a cracking time (too good some may say). The weather was fine albeit a little cold in the evening. My photos will be added later possibly tomorrow.

Hope to meet up again soon!

Just in the door myself. Went off via Oban to Dundee. Somehow last night our son managed to knacker the ligaments in his left foot, so he needs a lift to Inverness for college in the morning - so I completed my circuit of Scotland, via Aberdeen.

Great to put a few more faces to the names.

Catch up with you all soon.

Just got home.

825 mile round trip & well worth every single mile (& single malt, come to think of it, ). :D

Came back via Stirling & the A1 for a bit of variety but absolutely pooped right now, will post pics tomorrow.

Thanks for allowing us to once again savour your majestic land.

David and I had a lovely time. Great to meet so many like minded people. As Kevin put it The afternoon spent at the seafood restraunt at the side of the loch was "a %&@*$&^ civilised way to spend an afternoon"
Sorry we rushed so early but we went to Easdale for the stone skimming championships. Liz you would have won the women's competition no problem they really were rubbish! Maybe next year?
Can't wait to meet up again.

Great weekend. Weather was spot on and didn't get bitten by any midges.

Good to meet everyone old and new. Here's our pics:

Better today, just took a while for the Alka Seltzer to work I guess!!

Yet another magnificent weekend, many many thanks to all that took the time to put it together at such a beautiful spot, & those that made the effort to get there. =D> =D> =D>

How anyone ever gets to really enjoy life without a Bongo leaves me miffed!

We had a great trip up on the friday night but didn't manage to get there before last orders, although Thomas was still up to guide us in a little after midnight. :)

We did our own thing on saturday, popping down to Oban for the obligatory Oyster Shack selection while the others were sampling the wares of a reasonably local, but very posh, seafood restaraunt up near Glencoe. They had headed up to the pub at the top of the lane by the time we got back so we just chilled out by the enormous fire that was set up by our spot in the light of a clear skied nearly full moon.

Some pics . . . . .

Oh and thanks to Dave for the tip off about the Watermill coffee shop in Aberfeldy. Can recommend the apple crumble cake there
