Hold light flashes

Hi my names ken and Im a new member,
Since having a fuel pump fitted, the hold light flashes and theres no kick down and theres lack of power.Goes into top gear 2 early.
Fault code flashes once then twice, code shows throttle position sensor.
Has anyone got any ideas. Thanks.

I have a mazda friendee, 1996 diesel.

Edit: Fault code 12 is throttle position sensor.
As they've just fitted the pump, it's possible that the wires (to the sensor) have been disturbed. You'll see the 2 wires going along the front of and below the pump. Check if these are secure. If they're not, it's a simple fix to reattach them. You can test drive, clear code etc to see if the performance problem has gone.
If the wires are secure, there may be a problem with the sensor itself.

You need to get the flash code read (info in members area) but it will almost certainly be a TPS issue, either not connected or way out of adjustment & the tranny ECU is seeing a spurious voltage which will set a fault code & start the hold light flashing.
