I have fitted a well know alarm/immobiliser/central locking control to overcome "defunct" key fobs on our X reg Bongo - all works well until I come to fit the central locking.
System was working OK via Bongo fob (albeit with lots of sticky tape)
I have 4 options to attach the 6 wires coming out of the alarm...
1) 5 wire lock - +ve or -ve main line
2) 2 wire - central locking with lock switch
3) original built in where only a switch is installed in drivers door (a motor is reqd.)
4) N/A compressor driver
I have a 4 wire connector nearest the controller - Red, Green, Balck Earth, Blue/Brown 12v feed
If I lock the drivers door with the key it still triggers all the other doors to lock correctly.
Q - Can anyone please confirm what set-up I have (I though 1 first as there are 5 wires on the connector nearest the motor, but now think 2 due to connections nearest the controller)?
Q - If Ive wired anything up incorrectly have I "fried" the motor and/or the alarm controller? (I put the controller back to original set up and it now doesnt appear to work)
Q - Can I test the door switching/control by just "jumping" across the +ve or -ve to either of the green or red wires on teh connector nearest to the controller that I take to be the lock/unlock
Picy of instructions below - hope it can be read.
