Alternater light on and sediment light on
Hi i know i am on the wrong bit of the forum but can anybody help.I have just come bac k from work and my altenator light wont go out and the sediment light is also on.I have checked belts and are ok.Anyone had these probs

It's surely got to be the alternator if all the belts are tight enough~~if you nip to your local garage they can test it for you in about 5 minutes or less.
