Hi
Following on from the recent 'hills' post on poor hill-climbing performance, we are beginning to suspect that our V6 is perhaps not as powerful as it ought to be. Many years ago I had a grey-import Honda motorcycle that had a little black box that artificially lowered its power output (which I of course subsequently had removed!). Our V6 has a similar looking box to the Honda one tucked down behind the driver's side rear panel (i.e. near the tailgate). Is it possible this could be a restricter? Does anyone know anything about this and, if so, how to remove it?
Our Bongo is year 2000 new shape 2500 V6. Aren't they meant to have 160 hp? It doesn't feel like it has.....? Any ideas gratefully received....

If you mean 67-7LO (Right hand side, upper, middle) on this diagram http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... 03.html#10 then its the AFT controller.
