Tailgate Door Card Removal ????

OK - now I am banging my head as I just can't get the door card off the tailgate. I have removed the grey pop-plug-holder things etc but just can't get the card off. I have a 96 TinTop so no door opening catch to worry about on the card. The remaining "hidden" clips are so tight the cardboard is comming off. Any tips? Thanks.

I used a small screw driver to initially get the middle of the plastic trim clips up and then used a a pair of small pliers behind to even the pulling out.

Beneath the card is a plastic sheet around the metal rim thats black goo ed on, very messy.

I had my inner panel off on friday night if all the grey pegs are out then push from the bottom of the panel up and it should slide off the locating clips
