Samco hose clips are Image very similar to jubilee clips but are supposed to be "designed with fully rounded edges to help prevent damage to the surface of the hose under heavy clamping effects necessary in high pressure demanding applications" but of course we all know that the Bongo is only 15 psi or there about, so not high pressure.
I have factory hoses and factory type clips on mine..... Sourced my factory type replacement clips from here if anyone is interested, they do have the "normal" spring band types too as well as a plethora of different clips for lots of applications
