Quick yay or nay on tyre swap please :)

Going to swap my alloys to steel that I got from Wishmaster (thanks again ) and the tyres on these are 215/70 R15.

I have at the moment 215/65 R15. I just want to confirm before I swap wheels that going from a 65 height to 70 all round is ok. I know it's supposed to be 65 front and 70 rear but is 70 ok on the front?

It "should" be 195/70 front and 215/65 rear.

But so long as it is the same all round it shouldn't be a problem even with a 4WD.

The "70" on the rear will just mean you are geared "up" slightly from standard so just check your speedo isn't under reading, you don't want to get any points.

Cheers scanner. According to satnav I'm 5mph under from what speedo says so will check again once they're on.

You will also get better handling going around corners with 215 all round

Another plus is the taller sidewalls of the 70 profiles will fill the arch gap just a little bit more, adding that extra touch of coolness.
