you need a 17mm spanner or socket, slip id down the front of the alternator belts and feel for the upper most pulley on the seperate belt,in line with the front of the alternator, about halfway between the engine and alternator and below the alternator (thats a lot of alternators!) there is a 17mm nut that locks it all into place, slacken that a couple of turns and feel up above the pulley and you'll feel a 10mm nut at a right angle to the pulley, get a small ratchet or spanner on this and turn it clockwise, this runs the tension pulley up the thread and tightens the belt, when at correct tension, do up the 17mm and its job done, should take about 10 mins, getting to the bolts can be tricky as they're well hidden, its a job best done by feel ,as its difficult to see them, hope that helps!
