egr blanking

would there be any benefit from blanking off the egr valve? if so where can i get said item?

There are several ways of doing it - just do a search for EGR and you'll find loads :D

People usually blank it if there's a problem, as it's cheaper than replacing it and easier than removing it. There's lots of information about the EGR ON THIS LINK. It can be blanked in a few ways, including with blanking plates.
