Drop links again

Post by al & chris » Tue Nov 02, 2010 2:53 pm

Just starting to hear the knocking of worn front drop links again. This will be our third set that we are on to when replaced. Last ones were original mazda ones which seem to have lasted a bit longer. Anyone know of any heavier duty ones as the wear is probably due to the amount of driving on unsurfaced roads and tracks we do.

You can buy heavy duty droplinks from the Bongo Fury Shop. I'm sure road surfaces make a big difference to how long they last. Here in mid-Norfolk the roads are not bumpy or pot-holed, but instead are one giant rough holey surface. Cheap skinny droplinks don't stand a chance.

My cheap replacements from ebay did'nt last a year, so I paid around £90 at a motor factors for blueprint ones, been over a year and still working great.
