Front Seat Upholstery

Post by apole » Fri Dec 03, 2010 1:13 pm

Hi guys,

Does anyone happen to know how hard it would be to remove the front seat covers? Thinking of trying to fit some heat pads underneath rather than on top.

Thanks in advance.

if you take the seat off the baseplate ( 4 bolts ) under the seat there are some round hooks
take them off with pliers then you can pull the cover off to re pad then simply do the opposite to put back

Hi
Have you got any details on anyone doing kits for re-trimming, Carl?...I have a chap here who can make covers, but I've only seen photos of the covers...not the finished article....I have had some VERY pricey quotes for the covers, from UK suppliers , without fitting...I have been told they're not too hard to fit, so I might have a go myself if I could get a reasonably priced kit!
Cheers
Helen
