Tried to run my air con on way back from work tonight. TM2 had engine block at 0 degress at start up, frosty but not as cold as it has been. Once engine was warm tried air con on hot but did not get anything out of it. Once home tried again when stationary - nada. Just been out now couple hours after stopping TM2 registers 50 degrees, clicked on aircon and heard compressor working. Mine hasn't been re-gassed for about 3 years but works fine in the summer, but doesn't seem to like the cold.

It isn't supposed to like the cold, it is a protection system. Probably best to not even try it if is very cold.

Hi
Yes...i haven't had a re-gas for a few years..still fine...maybe take it in for a service next year.
Bongo MTB er...
You're probably right there about best not to run it if its rather cold...that , in itself, may even damage the seals, as they may go a bit solid.... I must admit, I didn't think of that
Cheers

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
