Windscreen part number and Help needed

Post by umbongocat » Fri Dec 17, 2010 2:11 pm

oooops... I posted under bongo chat instead of here so double posting ... sorry :(

Been on the phone re my cracked windscreen to Autoglass. All was fine until they asked me if the glass is t bronze, blue or green tinted? Chris had a look and said to him it looks clear, but Autoglass are saying it has to be one of the three? Any ideas of which one we should say.

Our model is the 1999 SLG5 2.5 diesel. I gave them the part number of 5163AGN but they said they don't use that, it's a product number they have.

Bit lost here what to say to them... any ideas?

I don't want them getting the wrong one, they know it's a Mazda Bongo which is one good thing I guess.

They're calling me back.

Thanks
I love cheese!

Hi, The screen is a green tint - had mine replaced last week - just a quick tip - take your van down the day before you are getting it fitted so they can compere the screens and they have the rubber trim in - it will take about 3 to 3.5 hours before you can drive it away. :)
If I had all the money I ever spent on my Freda ............ I`d spend it on my Freda.
