Bored with Butties roundup

Post by Muzorewa » Fri Dec 24, 2010 3:05 pm

Well, I’ve enjoyed doing this little lot, I never intended it to go on as long as it has but I received all sorts of encouragement from people at meetings, some who haven’t posted on any of the various threads, who said they look forward to Fridays to see what I’ve rustled up.

So, as a handy reference to save you having to search, here’s a summary of the year’s culinary delights with links, just on the off-chance that you might be as crazy as me and want to try them yourselves.... Some of the topics seem to have gone west but I do have the original html code so I can repost any if you really want to do that chicken liver paella

Many thanks Muz ! A really outstanding series.

I certainly have enjoyed looking for them at the end of each week, I think I'm going to put the whole series into a separate file and keep it on the Laptop for those evenings when "Evil Edna" has come to the conclusion that Navigating isn't as hard as driving all day, and that its my turn to do the cooking when we are out, a stash of the less common spices might be needed tucked away somewhere at the back of the cooker I think ;-)

Ok, those ones reposted (sounds like Showaddywaddy reissuing their back catalogue  )

No problem with them being used for peaceful Bongo cooking in fields

Heh Muz!
Brilliant year's work. Why don't you take it to a publisher, you have already done all the work and the pictures - could be a winner.

As has been said previously, I've enjoyed doing them, and even more eating them. Well, some of them

I'll do the odd one in the New Year, a kind of encore, anything to get rid of the rest of the turkey

Oddly enough Mrs Muz bought me a cookery book for Christmas so I might have to subject you to a few offerings from there. Plus, the long-awaited Half-Canned Cooks is now published at Lupe Pinto's, which is where Muzette & I are headed tomorrow. I know, I know, Edinburgh isn't exactly around the corner but food is food and we're out of mole sauce as well
